Hello, dear Hivers!
I promised to take you to a whole new place some time ago... here we are!
That place is Bosnia & Herzegovina: a country located in the Balkan peninsula in Europe. I visited it for the first time (well, if I don't count the one-day trip we took with my parents from Croatia some time ago) and was amazed by how diverse and beautiful the country is.
I will start my short series with picture from Bosnia's capital, Sarajevo. If you want to learn more about the city's turbulent history, I invite you to read my new blog post on PeakD: SARAJEVO: THE WEIRDEST MIXTURE OF A CITY.
What can you see in the pictures here?
1 - a restaurant located in one of the old buildings near the city's old town.
2 - old town Sarajevo.
3 - a bridge where Franz Ferdinand d'Este was assassinated in 1914, which marks the beginning of WWI.
4 - A model of the car which Franz Ferdinand drove the day he was assassinated.
5 - A pretty mosque's square in the old town of Sarajevo.
6 - cute streets of old town Sarajevo.
7 - the cutest café in Sarajevo.
8 - oriental markets in the old town.
9 - ancient market.
10 - the square of the Emperor's Mosque near the old town of Sarajevo.
Which of these places looks the most inviting for you? Let me know!
