I have dozens of selfies and photos after completing on an average a 5K run outside of the fitness studio. Under the orange lights, it's much more difficult to average a 5k daily for me, because the session is only 60 minutes and we have to do other exercises and do some rowing.
Regardless of the distance I run, there is that joy I feel after completing it. It doesn't have to be a running event, which is one of my wife's and my favorite things to participate in and allows us to collect medals, but also just running outside in the fresh air is invigorating.
We have one more running event later this month before the running events take a break here in Central Florida, because the heat becomes way too agressive to run outside. The one coming up is actually the first running event where it's closer to the evening and why we wanted to do it. It also will add another medal to our collection.
This collage I uploaded is just one of those reminders that after the run, there is truly a sense of accomplishment.
