My Unexpected 'kôfē Café Visit!

This cute little café was worth the visit!

The aesthetic and the vibe - talk about some COOL and cozy coffeehouse.

I found out about this special nook via Hive. If you’re following Miss April Hive account@ate.eping, you would know that she has featured this in her blog. As I read through, she had good reviews about the coffee and the pricing, not to mention the whole vibe of the place. What’s more is that the place was near our office - yay! Since discovering it, I have then been planning to visit after my shift. However, due to varied personal reasons, I never got the chance to go there after my shift. When was I able to go there, then, you may ask.

It was my lunch break and I wanted to go out of our office building. I was spending too much time facing the computer monitors. How did I know? Well my left eye hurt and it was unusual. I asked my niece about it and as a Gen Zer fully exposed to radiation from gadgets, she confirmed that it could be because of too much exposure. She advised that I take a break - so I did.

I went out of the building and started walking without any directions. I just wanted to get out for a bit, and enjoy the sun out. It was my lunch break so I wanted to maximize the time. As I was walking, I figured it was the best time to go to 'kôfē Café as it was nearby - so I went! As I reached the place, I realized I did not bring my wallet with me; silly Jong. I only have my phone, as I was tracking my daily steps haha. I asked the barista if they accept GCash and good thing they do, or I would have to walk back to the office, get my wallet, and go back.

As I already had my lunch meal prior, I wanted to have something to drink. I ordered one of their bestsellers: White Cold Brew. The 330 mL was for PHP 150, so not that bad. I like the taste of their cold brew: the milk they used was more or less like that of Starbucks’ and their coffee beans had that similar-ish note with Bo’s. The entirety of the brew was totally their signature though. Overall, I could definitely recommend this cold brew to any coffee lover out there who wants, and deserves, a good cuppa cold 'kôfē!

I would surely go back and try their hot coffee and food! Since it’s near our office, the convenience card is up for grabs for me. The vibe of the place is… something. Right?! I mean, look at the decors and the details. I adore it. It’s like Bali-vibes of some sort - except without the beach haha. But this cozy place is refreshing considering it is located at the heart of the city. Surely, it is worth your time to visit.
