What a great day to be in Venice!
Or at least you may think so lol. But as what you'd probably already have known, these "deceivingly" Venice shots are taken in Venice Canal Fort, Bonifacio Global Center Philippines. I visited this place along with my workmates last summer of 2018. I lived in Manila for a very short while and this was one of the places I visited. Even though it was my second time to go there, I still get amazed by the scenery around me - how this feels like the actual thing without going to the actual thing. But of course in Venice the vibe would've been different as people would have had different accents and the air is, of course, different. Anyway. [It is amazing and maddening how easily we can manufacture fake ones to seem to look real these day.]
I love how the entire place gives you that Italia #feels. I mean, look around! The building, the architectural design, the stores surrounding the canal, the canal boats, even the make-believe river - at just the right angle and timing, you can definitely fool anyone to believe that you've been in Venice. (Granted that this "anyone" does not know anything about the one in BGC Taguig.)In fact, I sent two of these photos to a friend who's not really a socmed person and she replied, "Wait since when were you in Italy?!" I laughed and then shortly after I told her the truth.
If you are ever in Manila or Taguig visiting, I encourage you to visit this place! There's no entrance fee whatsoever so you can definitely take your OOTD shots here and there - I mean it would certainly spice up your gram feed, don't you think? This is a mall so you can also check out some stores and buy pasalubong while you're at it - so much done for a day of touring, yay.
