Last week, we had the incredible opportunity to bring life-saving knowledge to the next generation through a lung cancer awareness outreach tagged "BREATH OF LIFE"—an initiative proudly supported by International Association for the Study of Lung Cancer (IASLC) in collaboration with Midas Touch Cancer Initiatives at Remo Secondary School, Sagamu, Ogun State.
We were welcomed with bright smiles and curious minds as we discussed:
✅ The dangers of smoking and environmental pollution
✅ Early signs and symptoms of lung cancer
✅ The importance of prevention, healthy habits, and screening
The highlight? Watching students ask thoughtful questions, engage with real-life stories, and commit to being advocates of healthy lungs in their homes and communities.
Lung cancer doesn’t just affect adults. It starts with the choices we make early in life. That’s why outreach like this is vital. We're not just raising awareness, we're planting seeds of health consciousness and empowering the future.
Special thanks to IASLC for championing this global mission. Because when students understand, they inspire families.
Healthy Lungs, Brighter Future.
