My small city is an oasis of silence, a yawn in the middle of a piano lesson, as the illustrious Armando Leyva, one of its most prominent intellectuals, said a long time ago. It's the second day of my photo challenge. I decided to give you some images this time, whose beauty totally escapes the eyes of the inhabitants of this city, because they are already too used to seeing.
Mi pequeña ciudad es un oasis de silencio, un bostezo en medio de una lección de piano, tal como dijera hace ya mucho tiempo el ilustre Armando Leyva, uno de sus intelectuales más prominentes. Es el segundo día de mi reto fotográfico. Decidí regalarles esta vez algunas imágenes, cuya belleza escapa totalmente a los ojos de los habitantes de esta ciudad, porque ya están demasiado habituados a ver.

This mountain that can be seen in the distance, and that looks like a saddle, is the Silla de Gibara. It is one of the most recognizable symbols of the city. /
