So i decided to go to the land of choco and waffles for a day because why not~
The weather was very wet, even more so than the UK that day. Nonetheless a visually stunning historical country. The buildings were beautiful plus there is an interesting architectural mistake on one of them (hint: with the arch) can you spot it?
Fun fact that i found interesting:
Did you know there is a statue called 'the peeing boy'? The statue small but significant. Legend has it this boy saved Brussels by relieving himself on gunpowder which put out the fuse and saved the city. So he is everywhere.. and even made out of chocolate.
Speaking of chocolate, the chocolate and waffles were amazing. Not too sweet. Check ✔️. I was also lucky enough to attend a chocolate making workshop.
Finally, the view at night on the city square was well... magical :)
