Several well-known brands participate in Sale in the building where my work is located yearly. Most of the time, it was held in November and lasted for three days. It was announced a month before so the employees in the whole building could prepare well financially.
Famous shoe brands sometimes offer up to 70% off with the promo of Staggered Payment, three to six months, depending on the total amount purchased using credit cards. What a perfect marketing strategy that could hardly be resisted.
On day one, the venue, which is the auditorium, was already full of customers who badly wanted to avail of the promo. My officemates and I joined before as we tried to grab the opportunity to buy some shoes. Then we ended up over break as we enjoyed plus long queues at the cashier's area.
However, since 2020 no particular event that happened due to safety protocols. Until I was in awe one morning upon seeing there would be a Holiday sale at the auditorium on that day. As I checked, the items available were more technical kinds of stuff. What perfect timing since I will need earphones.
It was ten in the morning, I decided to go down, and I was expecting a crowded venue, yet it was the opposite. There were only a few who were checking some items. I even overheard one of the staff saying;
Should we pack up and Go home? Seemed no sales would be generated.
Maybe, it was because of the current inflation people chose to purchase what is only needed. Those are basic needs and not wants.
I looked around, and my attention was caught by Euroo products. Reminded me how old I am now, yet I never owned such a thing. Hahaha, don't know why but it never crossed my mind to buy such. Gladly, there we a lot of earphones displayed, and even some cost $2. Yet, to my dismay, Type- C is available. Staff offered me a wireless, but I refused as I might lost it.
I was about to go out when I saw these backpacks by Targus. Either blue or black is perfect. Lightweight, and for sure, it would last! In the verge of buying it or not, but when I saw the price, close to $115! Yes, that's already discounted. Never mind, maybe next time.
