Hola a todos los hivers, hoy vengo a presumir sobre mi última salida. Hace poco fui de paseo con mi novio, como haríamos normalmente para salir de la rutina, teníamos planeado caminar por el Vedado (un lugar en la Habana, Cuba). Como es primavera los árboles están revestidos por un manto de flores y hace que cualquier caminata sea placentera a la vista. Ese día me vestí bien bonito sin saber lo que me tendría planeado, pues para mí solo sería disfrutar de la brisa y la naturaleza. De pronto nos da sed, pues el calor en esta época del año es muy fuerte y hace que hasta una pequeña caminata sea más agotadora de lo que sería normalmente y dijo que me llevaría a tomar algo refrescante. Llegamos al Wapa, un lugar que yo conocía hace rato pero jamás había tenido el placer de visitar pues tiene fama de tener un menú bastante caro y para sorpresa mía todo era parte del plan. Entramos y era como estar en otro mundo, se sentía la diferencia de temperatura pues el interior estaba climatizado con aire acondicionado. No podía decidirme, no estoy acostumbrada a estos lugares así que decidimos pedir una limonada wapa, que era lo que creiamos que sería más refrescante. Cuando llegó la limonada, no era nada parecido a lo que esperaba, era mucho mejor. Tenía ingredientes que aunque no pareciera que pegasen acentuaban mucho el sabor. La decoración fue una locura, yo soy bastante infantil por esa parte, me encantan las cosas de colores y llamativas a la vista, le doy un 10 en presentación. Todo era tan elegante, por un momento me sentí una reina. La verdad es que para ser una bebida simple costó bastante pero fuera de eso, es un excelente lugar para compartir y tomarse algo delicioso, con buen ambiente y una atención de primera.

I recently went for a walk with my boyfriend, as we would normally do to get out of the routine, we had planned to walk around Vedado (a place in Havana, Cuba). Since it is springtime the trees are covered with a blanket of flowers and it makes any walk pleasant to the eye. That day I dressed nicely without knowing what was planned for me, because for me it was just to enjoy the breeze and nature. Suddenly we got thirsty, as the heat at this time of the year is very strong and makes even a short hike more exhausting than it would normally be and he said he would take me for a refreshing drink. We arrived at Wapa, a place I had known about for a while but had never had the pleasure of visiting as it has a reputation for having a rather expensive menu and to my surprise it was all part of the plan. We entered and it was like being in another world, you could feel the difference in temperature because the interior was air-conditioned. I couldn't decide, I'm not used to these places so we decided to order a nice lemonade, which was what we thought would be more refreshing. When the lemonade arrived, it was nothing like what I expected, it was much better. It had ingredients that even though they didn't seem to match, they really accentuated the flavor. The decoration was crazy, I'm pretty childish about that part, I love colorful and eye catching things, I give it a 10 for presentation. Everything was so elegant, for a moment I felt like a queen. The truth is that for a simple drink it cost quite a lot, but other than that, it is an excellent place to share and have a delicious drink, with a good atmosphere and first class service.
