Recently, I have temporarily stopped going to the gym due to academic obligations and the recent oil price hike. I live quite far from my gym, which is around 45-minutes away so I feel like it is not practical to workout there almost everyday. However, I will be back hopefully around July or the end of June. Since I have not been attending yoga classes at the gym or at any studio, I have been doing yoga at home.
Yoga is like therapy to me. It helps me calm down and allows me to be deeply connected to the present. Yoga allows me to be more mindful of what is within me and what surrounds me. Yoga is more than just strengthening and flexibility for yoga also allows me to be in a deep meditative state.
