For 27 euros I traveled from Santiago to Porto, from there I flew to Agadir for 17 euros. Here they are, a cheap gateway to Africa, thanks to your favorite airline.
Agadir is a rare Moroccan city without a medina. Old Agadir was completely destroyed by the 1960 earthquake, which claimed 16,000 lives. The new city was built as a modern resort, with hotels, golf clubs and discos along the 13-kilometer beach. The ocean in October is quite bathable, the beaches are full of locals. The city is clean, designed for tourists. You won't get stoned for a bikini on the beach: it's sandy. The area near the port with parking for yachts - pure Benalmadena. Azamat Musagaliev calls such places "the most fashionable".
