Angie (my wife) loves meat, but can't eat beef lately and so asked me to prepare a chicken burger this Saturday. It was the first time I did it! I prepared the patty with minced chicken, pre-grilled onion and Pimentón Ahumado de La Vera "La Chinata" (a special type of smoked paprika from Spain), with panko breadcrumbs (first layer of wheat flour, then egg, then panko). The sauce was mayonnaise, to which I added a bit of Dijon mustard, pickles and capers. American cheddar, slices of tomato and iceberg lettuce, in a soft brioche bum. Oh man, that was good!
