How do you define a balanced lifestyle?
Three components that make life balanced according to me are goals, personal relationship, and relationship with nature. For a few years, I ventured on a journey finding a lifestyle that would define myself and also help me to be a better person. A young me tried many things that partly shaped the way I see life these days. When I was 19, I thought I knew what I wanted but actually didn’t. But those years helped me understand myself a little bit more. These days, I enjoy having a balanced life where I can work, have meaningful relationships and also be able to have the time to go outside and enjoy nature. I can’t always be idle because I like being busy yet at the same time, I can’t always be busy because eventually that would lead to misery. I enjoy everything in moderation and that is the reason I am less agitated. I love the life that I am having. In the past, I was always being negative but for the last two years, it is all coming together. First, I found that working out doesn’t have to mean going to the gym, I enjoyed swimming and that’s what I do 5 times/week. Second, working from outside occasionally boosts my mood because I get to see nature, I don’t have to always stay inside. Third, being myself and being in my authentic self is more rewarding. The people who truly care about me won’t leave and are accepting my flaws. Hence, lately there’s less pressure for me to always be perfect and leave no room for imperfections. What about you? Have you found your balanced lifestyle?
