Para ponerlos en contexto, cuando llegamos a Argentina, mi hijo mayor cursaba el quinto grado en la misma escuela a la cual asiste su hermano menor. Y una de las cosas que me gustó de esa institución es que no solo se ocupan del aspecto académico exigido por el Ministerio de Educación, sino que también colocan dentro de las instalaciones, algunos elementos visuales que estimulan la curiosidad de los chicos, así como también la generación de ideas y motivación hacia los aspectos artísticos y deportivos.
En aquel momento, en las paredes de la escuela tenían un mural alusivo a una serie animada llamada "Samba" que trata de un niño argentino que va descubriendo la historia del país a través de aventuras en las que interactúa con los próceres y otras personas destacadas por sus aportes al crecimiento de esta nación. Está en la última foto (que no tiene buena calidad, pero fue la que encontré en mi archivo de imágenes)
Este mural habia permanecido hasta el año pasado, en el cual se hizo una remodelación general de la escuela, trayendo consigo una nueva estimulación artística para los estudiantes que acuden a esa escuela.
Pues bien, hace una semana los padres fuimos invitados a participar en un acto escolar y al entrar lo primero que noté fue la ausencia del mural al que estaba acostumbrada, pero gratamente sorprendida con el que ahora adorna esta zona de la escuela.
Aunque no pude captar la firma del autor, ya que llegué con el tiempo justo para el inicio de las presentaciones, me pareció que su obra resalta ek espíritu de lo que se vive dentro de cada uno de los espacios de la escuela: ALEGRÍA!
Sus colores llamativos y la representación de diversas figuras me lleva a la idea de la aceptación y convivencia de diferentes miembros de la comunidad, sin establecer diferencias por su tamaño, color o posición. Es un espacio en el que simplemente todos son capaces de lucirse y brillar a su manera.

To put you in context, when we arrived in Argentina, my older son was in fifth grade at the same school that my younger son attends. And one of the things I liked about that institution is that they not only take care of the academic aspect required by the Ministry of Education, but they also place within the facilities some visual elements that stimulate the curiosity of the children, as well as the generation of ideas and motivation towards the artistic and sports aspects.
At that time, on the walls of the school they had a mural alluding to an animated series called "Samba" that is about an Argentine boy who is discovering the history of the country through adventures in which he interacts with the founding fathers and other people who stand out for their contributions to the growth of this nation.It is in the last photo (which is not of good quality, but it was the one I found in my image archive).

Well, a week ago the parents were invited to participate in a school event and upon entering the first thing I noticed was the absence of the mural to which I was accustomed, but pleasantly surprised with the one that now adorns this area of the school.
Although I could not capture the author's signature, since I arrived just in time for the start of the presentations, it seemed to me that his work highlights the spirit of what is experienced within each of the spaces of the school: JOY!
Its striking colors and the representation of different figures lead me to the idea of the acceptance and coexistence of different members of the community, without establishing differences for their size, color or position. It is a space in which simply everyone is able to shine and shine in their own way.
