Nuestra primera experiencia en el cine en Brasil 🎬🇧🇷 [ESP-ENG]

Hace un par de semanas tuvimos nuestra primera experiencia en un cine aquí en Brasil, lo que también significa que fue también nuestra primera vez viendo una película en portugués, que si bien ya desde hace mucho tiempo entendemos completamente el idioma todavia no nos habíamos animado a ver una película en otro idioma.

A couple of weeks ago we had our first experience at a movie theater here in Brazil, which also means it was our first time watching a film in Portuguese. Although we've understood the language completely for a long time, we hadn't yet ventured to watch a film in another language.

Fuimos al centro comercial Jockey Plaza donde sabíamos que hay un cine, este llamado Cinépolis. Nunca antes habíamos ido al cine y no sabíamos cómo era todo el proceso pero la verdad fue tan fácil y sencillo que hasta fue rápido, solo nos dirigimos a las máquinas y en ella hicimos todo el proceso de comprar nuestros boletos, desde elegir la película hasta el horario.

We went to the Jockey Plaza shopping center where we knew there was a movie theater, called Cinépolis. We had never been to the movies before and didn't know how the whole process worked, but it was so easy and simple that it was even quick. We just went to the machines and bought our tickets there, from choosing the movie to the showtime.

En este caso elegimos ver la película que más nos llamó la atención en ese momento y esta fue Super Mario Galaxy. Elegimos el horario de las 6:30 PM y como ya casi era la hora entramos directamente a la sala.

In this case, we chose to see the movie that caught our attention the most at that moment, and that was Super Mario Galaxy. We chose the 6:30 PM showtime, and since it was almost time, we went straight into the theater.

Nos sorprendió bastante el tamaño de la sala, era inmensamente enorme y con lo que parecía un infinidad de asientos, pero aún así no fue difícil encontrar los nuestros.

We were quite surprised by the size of the room; it was immensely huge and had what seemed like an endless number of seats, but even so, it wasn't difficult to find ours.

Lo que no nos gustó es que demoraron demasiado en colocar la película, fueron casi 45 minutos de publicidad, por lo que la película comenzó super tarde y sinceramente eso nos cansó un poco.

What we didn't like was that they took too long to show the movie; there were almost 45 minutes of commercials, so the movie started really late and honestly, that tired us out a bit.

La experiencia fue bastante buena (dejando a un lado la excesiva publicidad), pues, los asientos eran bastante cómodos y suaves, el ambiente dentro de la sala fue tranquilo y fresco, la calidad de imagen y de sonido fue bastante buena y lo mejor y más importante, la película fue buena y entendimos todo sin ningún problema.

The experience was quite good (aside from the excessive advertising), as the seats were very comfortable and soft, the atmosphere inside the theater was calm and cool, the image and sound quality were quite good, and best and most importantly, the movie was good and we understood everything without any problems.
