AKARA, the popular Nigerian street food. Akara is also called (Bean cake) which is the English version of the name, is a local speciality easily found on the street of Asaba, Delta state as well as various street in Nigeria.
Akara is mostly taken as a breakfast meal in Nigeria, some also make it their dinner, it goes together with pap or bread.
My home made Procedure👉Akara is made from beans, when you get the quantity you want, you wash the beans and remove it shaft, then soak it for some time, blend it and pour into a mortal, then keep turning the blended beans, add your fresh pepper, onion and salt, then you scoop it little by little in balls and put on the hot oil in the frying pan, then wait until it color changed to golden orange. Then you take it out of the oil.
Akara is best served hot or consumed hot. It's a really delicious meal you will love to have a taste of it.
