La carrera fue muy amena, ya que se concentraron la mayoria de corredores que hacemos vida en el pueblito, somos de diferentes club de corredores, pero siempre coincidimos en el asfalto, estadio, gimnasio, carreras, es realmente una gran familia de corredores. Hoy disfrute correr con cada una de estas personas fue realmente una fiesta familiar. Me senti bien durante la acrrera manteniendo vigilada mi frecuencia cardiaca y asi poder llegar con energia a la meta. Hoy una vez reafirmo, la pasion que siento por esta disciplina que me ha hecho disfrutar aun mas la vida, sin importar kilometros, ni ritmos, sino como mi vida ha cambiado en el proceso. 🌸💕

A kit pickup day that was very different from the races I usually attend. First of all, I barely had to cross the street to pick up the kit, since the pickup location—the city hospital—is right across from my house. Wow, this is truly fantastic because I usually have to drive up to 9 hours, spend days preparing, and get up at the crack of dawn just to pick up a kit, and this one is just across the street. It really is the best kit pickup I’ve had in a long time, and best of all, it’s for a community initiative in my little town, supporting with passion a social sporting event in the city. This really adds even more value to what we do, giving it a purpose in life.
The kit pickup took place at the Carupano City Hospital. I went with my daughter to pick up the kit; unfortunately, my husband couldn’t participate because of a health issue, but he’ll be there to support the event. When I arrived, there were two very active runners there—one young, with great talent and potential, and one more experienced, at a high level. Both had the demeanor of runners who take care of themselves and work hard; I admire them greatly—they’re wonderful people and fellow runners. I left feeling very happy. This time, I’m not running for the sake of a time; this time, I’m going to share the experience with my city’s running community, supporting this social initiative for our kidney health. Let’s keep enjoying our passion to the fullest.💕
