Rila is the highest mountain in Bulgaria and the Balkan Peninsula. Personally, I would freeze in her arms, but thank God I managed to escape. I will tell you this story in another post
If you come on vacation in Bulgaria, be sure to visit several of the many attractions in Rila.
The monastery was founded in the 10th century by the hermit Ivan Rilski. Ivan Rilski was one of the first hermit monks proclaimed a saint.
In the middle of the 15th century, the Ottomans invaded it, stopping spiritual activity. A little later, however, the Bulgarians regained control.
This is the entrance to the Rila Monastery. You can see that the place is surrounded by unique mountain scenery. Right there, two days after our visit, they saw a mother with two teddy bears walking calmly around the parking lot. What luck just ...
By the way, this is where I came up with the great idea to organize trips with a photographic entertainment around the Bulgarian landmarks.
So if you want to visit Bulgaria and come home with beautiful photos - I'm waiting for you!
This is the ossuary of the monastery. Here are the remains of monks and religious figures associated with its history. It looks like a scene from a scary movie. There are extremely old centuries-old graves.
_Thanks for sharing this wonderful place too!
Today is Sunday. I'm going to shoot a very cool horse base, so expect brand new photos!
P.S. These photos are from two years, so don't judge me ... :)))
