Leelawadee or Lan Thom. It is a flower that does not have many colors., many species. Leelawadee, the name Lan Thom was changed to Leelawadee because Thai people believe that Ran Thom is sad. If you leave your child at home, there will be only sad things. Therefore often see the Lan Thom tree or frangipani trees in various places that are tubes or ancient sites, so the name has changed to the present frangipani.

ลีลาวดี หรือ ดอกลั่นทม เป็นดอกไม้ที่ไม่หลายสีหลายสายพันธุ์เมื่อก่อนเป็นชื่อ ลั่นทม ถูกเปลี่ยนมาเป็นลีลาวดีเพราะคนไทยมีความเชื่อว่ารันทมคือการเศร้าเสียใจหากลูกไว้ที่บ้านก็จะมีแต่เรื่องเศร้าจึงมักจะเห็นต้นรันทมหรือต้นลีลาวดีตามสถานที่ต่างๆที่เป็นหลอดหรือว่าโบราณสถานจึงได้เปลี่ยนชื่อมาเป็นลีลาวดีปัจจุบัน
