I took advantage of a sunny Sunday for a cycling trip to the nearby mountain of Sabotin, where the Battles of the Isonzo took place during WW1 (May 1915- October 1917) between the Austro-Hungarian and Italian armies. At the top of Sabotnin, I drank a deserved coffee, recharging my batteries in the sunshine and at the end I visited The Park of Peace Museum.
