I spotted this oil leak on my drive.
I tried to look where it was coming from under the bonnet.
I read the error messages from the onboard computer
This is the pipe that caused the problems before.
I needed to clean my car so got the vacuum.
I have a garden cushion for my knees that I use.
Cleaning the mats.
Getting hot soapy water to clean.
Wiping down all the surfaces.
After my quite recent car troubles in Augsburg, I was dismayed to discover an oil leak from my car again that indicates something else is wrong. The leak is only small and I couldn't detect exactly where it was coming from without getting underneath the car for a clear look.
After opening the bonnet and looking for the leak, I got my diagnostic tool to check for error messages and indeed there was an error P15F6 which didn't really help me to diagnose the cause of the problem though.
Here you can see the air pipe that I replaced and caused my breakdown in Augsburg when the old one got a hole in it.
After my recent trip away, I also needed to clean the car. I like to clean my car before and after trips to keep it in a clean condition. Here I grabbed the vacuum and a bucket of hot soapy water to give it a good clean inside. Usually, in the winter I am cleaning less frequently because it is so cold outside. But today it was a mild day and a great opportunity to get it done.
I also grabbed my garden cushion to protect my frail knees from the cold floor. Once everything was vacuumed inside, I started to wipe down all the surfaces to get rid of any dust that builds up quite quickly. Today I also gave the boot mat a good clean too.
Once cleaned, I spoke to my local mechanic who asked me to drop it into him to check it out. After dropping it to him, I am now waiting to see what the problem could be. Hopefully it is nothing too serious.
