He has to check out everything
Got this cup of biscuits and dips and they're curious to see if they will like it ... (they won't) but the first one says .. 'cat say meow!' which was rather amusing to an idiot like me
Out in the yard, sitting still for a photo (rare)
Paws out ... they have a soft texture, and squishy. Very cute to play and cuddle with! This is the female, who's quite a bit more lithe than her brother the plump white one
Not all the time, but some of the time ... they'll actually cuddle together. When they do, it's surely the cutest sight.
Bat threw his arm over his sister Jet's shoulder this way, so I grabbed the shot whilst I good. Really captures a bit of personality and ways they look at you ...
In the garden, the brighter light reduces the pupils down to just a line and we see Bat's blue eyes really light up. Contrast to in the dark, he looks like a demon with enormous dilated black pupils!
The chin rub is one thing your cat sometimes just cannot resist, and will cause complete submission
Nite nite ... more cuddles
Still Babies
Now approaching their ninth month of existence on Earth, this brother and sister pair are beginning to look a lot like adults. However, don't be fooled! They're now at a kind of 'teenager' stage, yet very active. They don't sleep as much as adults, and can tear around the house like crazy. Right now I have to take care not to leave glass bottles or cups near the edge of tables or worktops. Anything which appears like prey - a fly, a small gecko lizard, a moth ... that enters the room is going to get hunted mercilessly! Such high speed action can cause accidents. Getting them outdoors for enough time each day means they will settle much better come the night - sometimes. More on this below...
Little Monsters
Although you can't tell that here. These pictures are the times they are being cute ... mostly while resting and napping! When they aren't having their battles where one cannot determine who is antagonising who - the roles continually swap, play can appear to be like aggressive fighting but it's all role-playing and practice for defending themselves outside.
They know where the food comes from
Those times when they're chill, needs have been met, enough outdoor playtime has taken place, nice treats have been given, the litter box is clean, the water fountain washed out and replinished, the floors swept up and wiped/mopped of hairs and detritous. Cats which are young and neccessite a lot of indoor time are hard work!
When they're cute, they're cute
Yet, once all the aforementioned is completed, they'll settle down for a movie with me and provide the most serene and lovable companionship one could ask for. So cute, when they're being cute!
Beware 3am flying monstor cats
Such monstors, when they decide at 3am it's time to play chase and kill with each other from one side of the bed to the other! I have to keep a pillow or roll-over to ensure I don't get a flying 4.5kg cat impacting any of my sensitive zones!
