Si una hermosa joven llena de vida con sueños y anhelos quisiera ser modelo mientras cursa una carrera de administración en la universidad, me pregunto entonces, ¿por qué no?
Young people in Venezuela have had everything but "a normal life", in this country the last 20 years have been as vertiginous as a roller coaster full of difficulties for everyone.
Los jóvenes en Venezuela han tenido de todo menos "una vida normal", en este país los últimos 20 años han sido tan vertiginosos como una montaña rusa llena de dificultades para todos.
Well, these kids have had to learn to be adults in a world that was not for them, one that none of them asked to grow up in, it just happened to them. However, they can only be young once and they must live their lives to the fullest in a constant race to discover themselves, explore life, stay active, enjoy the little or the much, and build their castles of happiness with practically nothing but their wits.
Pues bien, estos chicos han tenido que aprender a ser adultos en un mundo que no era para ellos, uno en el que ninguno de ellos pidió crecer, simplemente les sucedió. Sin embargo, sólo pueden ser jóvenes una vez y deben vivir su vida al máximo en una carrera constante por descubrirse a sí mismos, explorar la vida, mantenerse activos, disfrutar de lo poco o de lo mucho, y construir sus castillos de felicidad prácticamente con nada más que su ingenio.
The good thing is that all this happened to these young people in a digital age, where they have been able to grow up connected through the Internet, and now, with more social networks than TV channels they have the possibility to immerse themselves in a virtual world that gives them opportunities that their parents' generation did not have.
Lo bueno es que todo esto les ha ocurrido a estos jóvenes en una era digital, en la que han podido crecer conectados a través de Internet, y ahora, con más redes sociales que canales de televisión tienen la posibilidad de sumergirse en un mundo virtual que les brinda oportunidades que la generación de sus padres no tuvo.

I just hope that these kids can live, celebrate life, fulfill each and every one of their dreams, adventures and desires, that they don't miss a single beautiful thing the world has to offer them.
Solo espero que estos niños puedan vivir, celebrar la vida, cumplir todos y cada uno de sus sueños, aventuras y deseos, que no se pierdan ni una sola de las cosas hermosas que el mundo tiene para ofrecerles.
