The apple season, typically from late summer to early autumn, witnesses a flurry of activity as orchard owners and farmers engage in harvesting and packaging the fruit. Varieties like Red Delicious,Kullu Deliciois, Golden Delicious, and Ambri are cultivated with care, reflecting the region's dedication to maintaining a global standard of taste and quality.
However, the industry faces challenges, including unpredictable weather patterns, political tensions, and occasional disruptions to transportation routes. Despite these hurdles, the resilience of Kashmir's apple growers remains evident as they employ traditional horticultural techniques alongside modern agricultural practices.
