Ankara'nın en ünlü sokağı hangisi diye sorulsa, çok büyük ihtimalle şehirde yaşayanların çoğu Karanfil sokağı diye yanıt verir. Zira Karanfil sokağı için birçok şiir ve şarkı yazıldı. Bu sokakta Sabahattin Ali gibi ünlü yazarlar yaşadı.
