Last year, I shared our visit at Anjo World with my teammates, well guess what? Earlier this year before work and life caught up, I was able to visit Anjo World for the second time.
This time, I went with my boyfriend and his endearing family. You can read here how and what happened during the first time I met GB’s family. I’ve spent a couple of weeknights and even weekends at their house specially after weeks of not seeing each other so I’ve been pretty close with his family especially the kids; they’ll come running to me whenever they see me in the house and give me the biggest and warmest hug there is in the world. 🥰
If there’s something I can’t help but love about GB’s family that is their fondness with celebrations be it birthdays, graduation, Christmas to name a few. My family celebrates special occasions too but we're not used to huge celebrations; a normal meal with the family will do. The biggest celebration we have in the house is during our town fiesta.
Let's go back to Anjo! During his mother’s birthday last January, they decided to celebrate it at Anjo World. The kid in me was excited although I did try to hide it. 🤣 I’ve mentioned in my last post about Anjo World, that I was disappointed to hear that one of their rides called Boomerang was under maintenance during my first visit. If you haven't figured it our through my posts here in Hive, I'm someone who love thrilling, death-defying adventures. Let's just say I came back for the family gathering and the Boomerang. 🤣
Upon arrival at Anjo, we were determined to try all rides [Or maybe it was me? HAHA]. We all tried the easy rides first. That's just so cute and lovely, right? All of us rode the Golden Carousel then the Bumper Boats where the kids and the kids at heart went wild with the water guns attached to the boats. We rode the Vikings with the loudest shout and laughter that even heaven could hear. We also tried London Taxi, Tower Drop, Hip Hop, Space Shuttle, Mr. Cup, The Pharoah, and of course, the highlight of the day, Boomerang! There were five of us who tried this crazy ride. It's just pure fun for me. It's as if I died for a couple of minutes. We saved the most relaxing ride (Anjo Eye) for the last part of our Anjo World adventure.
My parents are old and adventures like this one aren't really their thing so I'm glad I have GB and his family who are always on the lookout for amazing family adventures. :)
