This was our order. It says cancel because we didn't get our food and the app refunded us. Kudos!
Yes! You read it right. We got the wrong order!
Just a little backstory, last week around eleven at night. Me and my sisters were cravings for pizza and lasagna. So, I decided to grab my smartphone, open my food panda app, and started to scroll for pizza. I was very thrilled when Greenwich Pizza in Raintree Mall is having a promotion and they are still open. Without further ado, I ordered a 12-inch All-In Overload Pizza, a small Lasagna Supreme Pan, and 3pcs. Garlic Sticks.
My order took about thirty to fifty minutes of waiting time since it's quite far from my place. It was really reasonable to wait because I was still having class at that time by the time the app notified me that the driver is on his way. I called my younger sister to take care of my order and received it on my behalf. My younger sister didn't know what's the order so she just accept it and goes back to our room.
When my sister arrived in my room, I noticed that she was holding two boxes of small pizzas which is really different from my expectation. I was panicking and I called the driver before he will tap the "Order Received" button. He actually replied but suddenly he tapped it and I don't know how to contact him anymore. Luckily, he calls back but he insisted that our order is correct and that's the only order he received from the store.
I really doubt it. Then we found the receipts with a different name on it. It was a man and his order was 1 9' Overload Duo which is what we received. We tried to call again the driver but the driver refused to go back to the store and settle it because he was very far already. The driver even went far into lowkey cursing us because everything feels like a hassle to him. And it wasn’t even our fault, but his! At that time, all I could think about is how we don’t deserve to be treated like that, especially when it is his fault.
Anyway, we decided to ignore his ill-treatment to us and just decided to call the store to confirm if they gave the right order but according to the store clerk, the driver was having a double booking. Talk about correct intuition…
We really got mad about it but we have no choice since we were so hungry and the food panda customer service decided to refund the money we used. In short, we got the wrong order but we still got our money. It was not that bad after all though but since we were curious. I decided to search the name that was on the receipts in Facebook and then I found him.
It was hilarious because I sent him a message and he even reply. He said he felt bad for the driver, but I guess he only feels that way because he never experienced what the driver did to us. We never told him about it though and just sent him a quick goodbye.
