El lunes, es el día más ajetreado de mi semana, porque además de mis actividades en casa y en mi blog, que suelo realizar en las mañanas, debo irme antes de medio día a buscar a Miranda, con comida en mano para ella, que debe quedarse hasta cerca del final de la tarde para sus clases extraacadémicas y para su hermano quien sale cerca de las tres del liceo.
Generalmente, llevo también mi almuerzo, y lo como de camino al colegio, en el carro, pero el lunes pasado fue medio caótico y solo tuve tiempo de preparar todo lo de los niños; almuerzos y bebidas de ambos y los instrumentos musicales de Miranda, y cuando llegó mi esposo por mí aún no había servido mi comida, y al ser súper tarde decidí irme así.
Por supuesto, luego de una hora esperando por Miranda el hambre atacó, y ni cartera había llevado, por suerte sí tenía mi celular, así que cambié unos HBD y me compré un combo de perros calientes a un muy buen precio (2x1.5$), pero como ven, no es de ellos que les vengo a hablar, porque ni recordé tomar fotos del hambre que tenía, pero una vez que terminé de comer, me provocó "algo rico", así que decidí comprar un helado.
Específicamente, el Polet crunch white, que es uno de los nuevos productos, de una marca que está posicionándose muy bien en el mercado debido a que mantienen precios bastante solidarios con respecto a otras marcas, aunque algunos de sus helados no son tan ricos, pero la verdad, eso no me importó mucho, tenía ganas de dulce, y eso era lo que estaba a mi alcance.
Así que estuve mirando un poco lo que tenían disponible y de inmediato, esta paleta de mantecado, rellena de fresa, cubierta con una capa de chocolate blanco y galletas oreo, llamó mi atención, y dije "tengo que probarlo", y como el precio no estaba mal (1.5$), decidí comprarlo, para ver qué tal, y la verdad quedé sorprendida.
En principio la capa de chocolate con galletas es crocante, cosa que me encanta, y aunque pudiese ser más gruesa, lo perdono, porque el chocolate blanco con las galletas es una mezcla realmente deliciosa.
Debajo de la cobertura, te encuentras con un helado de vainilla cremoso, relleno de sirope de fresa, y trocitos de fresa, con la particular acidez de esta fruta, que combinado con el resto de los sabores, me encantó. Definitivamente delicioso, así que si no lo has probado, hazlo en cuanto puedas, no te arrepentirás.
Monday is the busiest day of my week, because in addition to my activities at home and on my blog, which I usually do in the mornings, I have to leave before noon to pick up Miranda, with food in hand for her, who has to stay until late afternoon for her extracurricular classes and for her brother who gets out of school around three o'clock.
Usually, I take my lunch too, and eat it on the way to school, in the car, but last Monday was a bit chaotic and I only had time to prepare everything for the kids; lunches and drinks for both of them and Miranda's musical instruments, and when my husband arrived for me I still hadn't served my food, and being super late I decided to leave like that.
Of course, after an hour waiting for Miranda the hunger attacked, and I didn't even have my wallet, luckily I had my cell phone, so I changed some HBD and bought a combo of hot dogs at a very good price (2x1.5$), but as you see, it's not about them that I come to talk, because I didn't even remember to take pictures of the hunger I had, but once I finished eating, it provoked me "something tasty ", so I decided to buy an ice cream.
Specifically, the Polet crunch white, which is one of the new products, from a brand that is positioning itself very well in the market because they keep prices quite supportive with respect to other brands, although some of their ice creams are not so rich, but the truth, that did not matter much to me, I was in the mood for sweet, and that was what was within my reach.
So I was looking at what they had available and immediately, this strawberry-filled buttercream popsicle, covered with a layer of white chocolate and oreo cookies, caught my attention, and I said "I have to try it ", and as the price was not bad (1.5$), I decided to buy it, to see how it was, and the truth is I was surprised.
In principle the chocolate layer with cookies is crunchy, which I love, and even if it could be thicker, I forgive it, because the white chocolate with the cookies is a really delicious mix.
Under the topping, you find a creamy vanilla ice cream, filled with strawberry syrup and strawberry pieces, with the particular acidity of this fruit, which combined with the rest of the flavors, I loved. Definitely delicious, so if you haven't tried it, do it as soon as you can, you won't regret it.
