"Puerto Abajo" Cove [Eng/ Esp]

Tell me if I am not lucky to be able to live close to so much beauty? Luckily it's never too late to take advantage and live life as it should be, because until recently I didn't even pay attention to so much beauty that hits me right in the face!

As you know (and for those who don't) I live in a beautiful island in Venezuela called Margarita, but as if that wasn't enough I live a short distance from the sea, so close that I could walk there, and in fact I did when I was younger. After a while I even stopped going to the beach and only after my kids were born I go a little bit more.

But last year after some health episodes (nothing serious, thank God) I realized that I am being very ungrateful with the life God has given me and with all the amazing things I have by my side, so I started to make changes. Think less and live more. Worry about what I want and need. And you know what? I am happier!

And one of those changes has been to enjoy more of everything beautiful around me and one of them is the sea, since I am literally surrounded by it! So let's take advantage of it!

The photos I share with you today are from a visit to the beach of my childhood, a small fishing beach between two rock formations that form an inlet, but despite being small you can't imagine how different it is! I have divided it into three zones; the wild, where the waves are super strong, the intermediate, which is ideal for those who like to jump waves but not be overturned by it and super soft, where you can swim as if it were a pool. And just from that area are the photos that I share with you.

From there, standing on the rocks you can have a full view of the small beach from end to end, besides being able to admire the imposing Guayamuri hill. Just to go and sit and watch is a complete blessing that undoubtedly deserves to be shared.

Díganme ustedes si no soy afortunada de poder vivir cerca de tanta belleza? Por suerte nunca es tarde para aprovechar y vivir la vida como corresponde, porque hasta hace muy poco ni atención le prestaba a tanta belleza que me golpea justo en la cara!

Como saben (y para los que no) vivo en una bellísima Isla de Venezuela llamada Margarita, pero como si eso no fuese suficiente vivo a poca distancia del mar, tan cerca que pudiese ir caminando, y de hecho lo hacía cuando era más chama. Después de un tiempo incluso dejé de ir a la playa y sólo después de nacer mis hijos voy un poco más.

Pero el año pasado después de algunos episodios de salud (nada grave, gracias a Dios) pude darme cuenta que esta siendo muy mal agradecida con la vida que Dios me ha dado y con todas las cosas increíbles que tengo a mi lado,así que comencé a hacer cambios. Pensar menos y vivir más. Preocuparme por lo que yo quiero y necesito. Y saben qué? Soy más feliz!!

*Y uno de esos cambios ha sido disfrutar más de todo lo bello que me rodea y una de ellas es el mar, ya que literalmente estoy rodeada de él! Así que vamos a aprovecharlo!

Las fotos que les comparto hoy son de una visita a la playa de mi infancia, una pequeña playa de pescadores entre dos formaciones rocosas que forman una ensenada, pero a pesar de ser pequeña no se imaginan lo diferente que es! Yo la he dividido en tres zonas; la salvaje, donde el oleaje es súper fuerte, la intermedia, que es ideal para los que les gusta saltar olas pero no ser revocados por ella y súper soft, donde te puedes bañar como si se tratara de una piscina. Y justo de esa zona son las fotos que les comparto.

Desde ahí, parada en las rocas se puede tener una vista completa de la pequeña playa de punta a punta, además de poder admirar al imponente cerro Guayamuri. Es que solo ir y sentarte a mirar es una completa bendición que sin duda merece ser compartida.
