Summer always smells like salt and ripe peaches to me. The sun burns my skin, but I don't care - I love the feeling, like being embraced by an old, warm day from my childhood. The wind ruffles my hair as I walk barefoot on the hot sand, and the waves whisper stories to me that I will never forget. The nights are long and sticky with laughter, watermelon and the sound of a guitar somewhere in the distance. In the summer, I'm always lighter, more carefree, as if I can save all those moments in my pocket and take them with me when it gets cold.
