A science fair was organized in my college on the occasion of science week. I had a lot of fun at this fair. I got a chance to see the magic of science. As long as I spent time there, I felt that I was entering a vast horizon of scientific knowledge, it opened up my knowledge. I was observing everything with keen attention and closeness.
The fair had various stalls with numerous scientific instruments. I have seen decorated models of motor cars, trains, ships, aero planes etc. On the occasion of this fair, the authorities have taken fair and just measures. There were two entrances. Everything inside the pandal was beautifully arranged. There were stalls of various societies or companies.
There are open spaces for visitors to spend their time. Security was adequate. The exhibits were arranged in such a way that the visitors could reach and see each of them without any difficulty. Lighting and other facilities were well arranged. I took great pleasure in observing all these arrangements.
Science fairs are usually held in schools and colleges. However, science fairs should not be confined to schools and colleges only, it should be spread and awareness should be created through it. Science fairs should be organized all over the country and people of all levels of the country should be given an idea about science.
Science fairs are organized with specific goals or objectives in mind. The main objective of science fair is to encourage the innovative power of young scientists and science education by showing scientific inventions, scientific instruments and amazing discoveries of science to the public and students.Science in modern times is a wonder. People have been interested in knowing this wonder for a long time. All the discoveries of science have made our lives more comfortable and happy. As a result of the science fair, people's interest in it increases. It is one of the main objectives of developing the knowledge of science among people.
There is no substitute for science to take the nation to the highest heights of development. The development of the nation is possible only through the spread of this science.
So everyone should be made aware by organizing a science fair. We should be encouraged to organize science fairs. And every one of us should be science minded. Society and country should be built on the ideals of science.
