Hoy fui al ensayo de mi graduación que será en un mes, en el Teatro Dr. Alfredo Celis Pérez. Entre risas intentando descifrar cómo se pone correctamente el birrete, las instrucciones detalladas de todo el protocolo, me di cuenta de que falta apenas un mes para el gran día. Al estudiar en una universidad privada, todo está calculado y planificado, desde la logística de la ceremonia hasta los pagos finales de aranceles; ver esa planificación tan estricta me hizo pensar en lo lindo que es imaginarte de pequeña siendo doctora, ingeniera o profesora, y sí, quizás algún día dije eso de pequeña, porque me gustaba enseñar a otros más pequeños, y adoraba los bebés a cortos ratos, pero hoy, reflexioné sobre qué, estudié la carrera de mis sueños, seguí mi ikigai y lo cumplí.

Today I went to the rehearsal for my graduation, which will take place in a month at the Dr. Alfredo Celis Pérez Theater. Amid laughter as we tried to figure out how to put on our caps correctly and the detailed instructions for the entire protocol, I realized that there is only a month left until the big day. Since I study at a private university, everything is calculated and planned, from the logistics of the ceremony to the final tuition payments. Seeing such strict planning made me think about how nice it is to imagine yourself as a child becoming a doctor, engineer, or teacher. And yes, maybe I said that when I was little, because I liked teaching younger children and loved babies for short periods of time, but today, I reflected on what I did: I studied the career of my dreams, followed my ikigai, and achieved it.
