“We want solutions, but what we really need are attitudes.
You don't need abs, but rather an attitude of training. You don't need the answer, but rather an attitude of curiosity. You don't need an easier life, but rather an attitude of perseverance.
Attitude precedes outcome.”
James Clear
This is something I've been saying for a while here on Hive. It's a common thing to see people, especially newcomers, wish they had a bigger stake, more followers, more upvotes, you name it.
I don't want to generalize because, as always, there are exceptions but if you look at the activity of many of those people it doesn't take long to understand why they are not having the results they expect.
Many want the results but very few are willing to do the work. So many people lack a long-term view and fail to understand that consistency is what will get them where they want to be.
Instead of building a follower base, a community and a reputation (actual reputation, not the number next to their name), they try taking shortcuts.
In my opinion, that is not the kind of attitude that will make one thrive on Hive. I could be wrong as I can't say that I've made it yet but I stand by my words and try to live by them.
