“The question is not: will today be a good day?
Every day is a good day.
The question is: how much good will you get out of today?”
James Clear
This is something I really need to learn. This week alone I already complained about my days twice (and we are two days into it so I'm pretty much 2 for 2).
I have this problem that sometimes I let myself be affected too much by stuff that goes wrong with my day. I thinks that's normal and probably happens to most of us but I also noticed sometimes it take me too long to shake it off and start over.
That's the real challenge in my opinion.
In fact, it was one of the reasons I started doing this series in the first place. I often find comfort and inspiration in the quotes I share here and sometimes I also find valuable lessons like the one for today.
Fortunately, I get motivated just as easily as I get demotivated so reading a few words of encouragement are usually enough to get me back on my feet.
My next step is work on my emotional intelligence so I don't get so affected by small bumps on the road so often.
