SATURDAY ORGANIC MARKET
This place was where you can get your own vegetable from the farm (of course you ll be advice and helped from the farmer) and buy it with lower price from the market in town . Even the vendor from town come here daily to buy the organic vegetable from the farm to be sales at market .
What i love about Chiang Mai is they produced and sell organic vegetable almost same price with the non-organic vegetables that used farm pesticide and other stuff. Producing and maintaining organic farm is more expensive than non-organic farm but Chiang Mai is different because the government support the farmer to go for organic farm. Even there was large research being done in University in Chiang Mai for that purpose .
This place was open everyday for vegetable business but in Saturday , the local can sell other stuff like food , coffee , banana , mangoes , ducks , eggs and other stuff at this place. So , it ll be quite happening in this place on Saturday. I come with my friend here almost every Saturday at that time . I come because i love the organic coffee bean that was being brew in traditional way. I ll try to upload the video of that coffee.making later .
