** Feast of St. Mary in front of Maria Radna Basilica in western Romania**
At the holidays we are much closer to each other and hold in our hands the light that brings us closer to God.

Good evening everyone,
In the west of Romania, between 14-15 August each year, the faithful come from all over Romania to celebrate the Assumption of the Virgin Mary at the Basilica of Maria Radna, a very big feast, many pilgrims gather here to celebrate this special event together.
Behind the basilica there is an oak forest and the faithful after listening to the end of the services held there go into the forest and kneel after which they pray, and then begin to look for oak seeds, about these signs of oak it is said that they represent the tears of the Mother of God, and those who find them will be healthy and will benefit from understanding with family and friends.
On the streets of the city leading to the Basilica Maria Radna there are all kinds of street shops, even makeshift tents where vendors sell everything, a kind of market where you can find everything from food to clothing, children's toys.
I have chosen to show you some pictures taken here on the streets at a stall selling hats, others selling ie (a handmade clothing item made of linen), others selling pots made of cast iron, others selling painted icons, others selling horse harnesses, others selling herbal products, others making food, I have said it is a market of contrasts.
These stalls are open non-stop on these two days, and this weekend we also had some really nice weather, just right for getting out and about.
My dears this was in a few photos my walk to this very important celebration, if you liked what you saw and read I am glad, and thank you to all of you who passed by here and to those who support me, and until the next post that I do not know when and where it will be I say, goodbye.
