Fish Market and a Mosque in Hurghada, Egypt
Hello friends,
If yesterday I wrote here a post about promenades and restaurants in Hurghada Marina, today I still want to stay in the lovely resort of Hurghada and visit together a local fish market and a mosque.
I know that a fish market is not a tourist attraction, a must see place, but this local fish market is unique, this kind of traders are mostly found in Muslim countries.
Here I lived a real experience, let me tell you how, in the market you go like any other market in the world but what is amazing here, after you choose what you want to eat, for example a crab, clams, shrimp, seafood, these locals for a small amount of money can cook on the spot everything you bought.
I really need to talk a bit about the prices here, besides the fact that you have the advantage of seeing everything fresh in front of you, everything being caught in the morning of that day, the prices are extremely low if you were to compare them to prices in Europe, and it costs very little to cook what you bought.
All the spices added to the food there are also produced by locals, so you could say they are natural without too many preservatives and other added stuff like those in Europe.
Also in today's post I will share with you a picture of the mosque near the fish market, unfortunately inside the mosque I couldn't take pictures because when I visited these places Ramadan was being celebrated, and I didn't have access inside, maybe next time.
I thank you in advance for stopping by and taking the time to read and see the lines I wrote.
