Hello liketu community,
Last December I visited one of the most beautiful countries I have ever seen, Venice.
And if I were to make a ranking the first place would be Egypt (my country of love), the second place would be Venice (Italy) and the third place would be Paris (France).
I've written a few blogs about the touristy and not so touristy places in Venice, but today I want to share with you some photos I took while visiting the Doge's Palace, namely the weapons people used to fight with in those times.
From what I saw they were displayed in showcases protected with spotlessly clean glass, sometimes it felt like there wasn't a wall of glass there.
I admit that I am a great lover of history, I love historical places but at the same time I am also fascinated by the technique and weapons used in the battles of ancient peoples, even sometimes I make a comparison between today's technique and the technique and weapons used then.
What I realised was that the leaders of the armies at that time were geniuses, people of extraordinary strategic ability, at that time they didn't have access to so much technology and yet they faced all the challenges.
So that's it for today, I hope you enjoyed today's post, and let me not forget to thank you very much for taking the time to stop by.
