I talk about this a great deal precisely because it is so critically essential to any sort of real happiness. The reason isn't only because it feels infinitely better to be true to ourselves and our authentic thoughts, feelings, and expression, but it's also through honoring who we truly are that we allow greater accomplishments, satisfaction, fulfillment, and success into our lives.
If our life is not congruent with who we know ourselves to be, then it cannot be said that we are successful, for success is inherently and intrinsically connected with genuine fulfillment and self-expression.
I can speak from many years of experience on this topic. I know the frustration and resentment from not being true to myself and living in a way that does not feel good at all to me. I also know clearly how it feels to be true to myself and completely authentic in my expression, living in my own way and on my own terms. I can tell you that there is no comparison. They are completely different worlds and experiences, but I know which one I'll always choose!
I very intentionally choose to live where and how I do, on my own terms, doing what I most love, every day. It's taken me many years to get to where I am now, and I can tell you that it was absolutely worth it! And now that I know what's possible, there is absolutely no going back for me!
Do yourself the honor or being true to who you are, what you think, what you feel, and what is most important to you! You truly can live your life the way you want. You just need the courage to say 'yes' to it and go for it! I know you can do it! Choose you! 😁 🙏 💚 ✨ 🤙
