Today's #Index4Index Daily Inspired Motivation is about exploring, experimenting, and tinkering being an essential part of success. Find a good way to do something, but always seek for a way to improve it!
"All life is an experiment. The more experiments you make the better."
- Ralph Waldo Emerson
This feels like the epitomy of my life! Since I was a child I've been exploring, experimenting, and tinkering with everything that I do! Most things that I know how to do have come from this!
When we learn a way to do something, it's a good idea to keep doing it that way! While we continue to do it the way we learned it, we should always be tinkering with components, exploring variables, and experimenting with possibilities!
Even when we are very good at something, there is almost always a way to improve some aspect of how we do it, whether it be a small change or something more significant. Simplicity, elegance, efficiency, and effectiveness are excellent guidelines to follow when deciding what to keep and what to change.
There are often very good reasons to do some things in a certain way, at particular times. Other habits are more arbitrary, and it is these that we should be open to reconfiguring. Don't constrain yourself to how you think things are supposed to be done! Go play outside your habitual box for a while! You might be very pleasantly surprised by what you find in the process!
Remember, dear friends, that we are all in this together, that we rise by lifting others, and that together we thrive, so onward and upward, joyfully together! 😁 🙏 💚 ✨ 🤙
