Do you also feel that the older you get, the harder it is to just randomly meet up and hang out with your friends, or is it just me? Maybe I’m just too busy with work and other personal stuff that meeting with friends means setting a planned appointment weeks or sometimes even months prior, but kidding aside, I was glad I was able to spend my day off with Alphine.
You have already seen her in one of my blogs when we tried the new Sumo Niku Japanesse BBQ in SM City, Cebu, and my, oh my, that was from October last year, when I last saw this girl, even if we live in the same city. Her work schedule is also crazy with no fixed day off, so it’s really hard to just set a date.
Anyhow, we spent the entire Friday afternoon in Ayala Center over coffee, and we caught up with all the happenings in each other's lives. We were in the cafe for almost 4 hours—way too much chika and stories that afternoon.
After our coffee date, we roam around the mall and found this super cute mother's day backdrop and I went ahead and snap some pose for my Mother's Day entry for tomorrow.
A big shout out too, to all the amazing Mom's out there. In case nobody has told you lately, You are doing an AMAZING job!
Then the day ended and it's now time for me to go home,
We planned to meet again next week since we bought a bottle of wine from the department store that we plan to drink. I just hope this next week's plan doesn’t get postponed for another few months.
How about you? How is the start of your weekend going so far? Any plans?
Wherever your plans take you today, I hope you enjoy it and have a great day! Sending hugs. Take care!
xoxo
