Encuentro de talentos || "El futuro un misterio" [Esp-Eng]

Hoy de nuevo en esta maravillosa comunidad de Encuentros de talentos en la iniciativa de la amiga Hive account@angelica7, que nos invita a participar en el tema "El futuro es un misterio". El futuro es incierto porque la vida no acepta promesas ni contratos. Pasamos gran parte del tiempo intentando adivinar el mañana, construyendo castillos sobre días que aún no existen, solo para que el tiempo nos recuerde que no tenemos el control de nada. Pero en esa incertidumbre también hay una hermosa libertad: cuando dejamos de exigirle respuestas al futuro, empezamos a disfrutar de las sorpresas del presente. Lo incierto del mañana es lo que vuelve sagrado y valioso el día de hoy.

Desde mi experiencia personal, debo decirles que si creo en que el futuro es un misterio porque nadie sabe lo que nos espera, lo digo porque cuando recibí el diagnóstico de cáncer, perdí toda esperanza y en esos momentos sentí que ya mi vida acabaría, porque esto no formaba parte del futuro que me había propuesto. Desde entonces, entendí desde lo profundo de mi alma que el mañana se construye viviendo el presente, porque la verdad es que no sabemos hasta cuándo estaremos aquí. Por eso disfruto cada momento con mis seres queridos intensamente con mucho cariño y principalmente con alegría, porque hoy estamos mañana no sabemos.

Por eso, amigo mío, la vida es ahora. No hay mejor momento que este para entregarnos a lo que nos apasiona y disfrutar de la fortuna de estar vivos y sanos. Dejemos de postergar la felicidad construyendo un mañana que, como siempre hemos dicho, es incierto y suele llenarnos de ansiedad. Aprovechemos al máximo el hoy porque pasa y nunca vuelve; además, cada uno de nosotros tiene el poder de transformarlo, así que no tenemos que desesperarnos tratando de adivinar lo que nos depara el futuro, ya que lo estamos construyendo día a día.

Today I’m back in this wonderful “Talent Encounters” community, thanks to the initiative of my friend Hive account@angelica7, who invites us to participate in the theme “The Future Is a Mystery.” The future is uncertain because life accepts neither promises nor contracts. We spend much of our time trying to guess what tomorrow will bring, building castles in the air about days that don’t yet exist, only for time to remind us that we have no control over anything. But in that uncertainty there is also a beautiful freedom: when we stop demanding answers from the future, we begin to enjoy the surprises of the present. The uncertainty of tomorrow is what makes today sacred and valuable.

From my personal experience, I must tell you that if I believe the future is a mystery because no one knows what awaits us, I say this because when I received my cancer diagnosis, I lost all hope, and in those moments I felt my life was over, because this was not part of the future I had envisioned for myself. Since then, I have understood from the depths of my soul that tomorrow is built by living in the present, because the truth is that we don’t know how long we’ll be here. That’s why I enjoy every moment with my loved ones intensely, with great affection, and above all with joy, because today we are here, but tomorrow we don’t know.

That is why, my friend, life is now. There is no better time than this to devote ourselves to what we are passionate about and enjoy the good fortune of being alive and healthy. Let’s stop putting off happiness by building a tomorrow that, as we’ve always said, is uncertain and often fills us with anxiety. Let’s make the most of today because it passes and never returns; moreover, each of us has the power to transform it, so we don’t have to despair trying to guess what the future holds, since we’re building it day by day.
