Hello everyone, very good afternoon, today I want to share with you a photo gallery that for some days I was doing to a small tomato garden that I have at home.
And it is that really for me this is an achievement that I want to share with you, since I had been trying for years to have some kind of harvest, so I had planted different types of plants, but none, for various reasons had managed to bear fruit.
I tried with several, such as: Paprika, Chili, Cilantro, Chives, Carrot, Ginger, normal Tomato and Cherry Tomato; but due to different situations such as very humid soil, too much sun or lack of sun and pests, they had prevented my plants from bearing fruits.
I made all these attempts in the previous house where I lived and although I know that the soil was very good, I always had problems; this time I live in a different place, I just arrived and we can say that in a certain way I planted tomatoes although what I really did was to spread some seeds in a field.
Soon the tomato plants were germinating and as soon as I saw that they began to germinate I made an effort to get them to finally go ahead, it was not an easy task, really taking care of a plant is a job that requires a lot of attention, even so little by little they were growing more and more.
I got up early to water them, one day I started to remove all the weeds I had around them so they would have enough land to grow and in the afternoons I would water them a little more.
There was a banana plant right where the tomato plants were growing and to avoid that the nutrients of one of them would diminish the growth of the others I transplanted that banana plant and little by little the tomato plants were growing, of course the tomato is a very delicate type of bush, but at least I didn't have any problems with pests.
So when the plants were already a decent size I started to think about how to give them stability, because it is a very fragile plant that easily bends for anything and although the stem is not so fragile in itself, a breeze can bend the plants and they would no longer be useful.
So I was thinking about it for several days, I thought about putting some rods so that I could give stability and support to each plant, however usually when there are many plants the land is very limited by the amount of rods that I would have to put, so thinking better I decided to pass a rope over them and from the rope to take out small ropes to give stability to each plant upwards.
This idea worked and the bushes were already bearing fruits, so little by little I was tying each one of the stems, I wrapped the stem in a little piece of fabric so that it would not be tight and then I tied a rope to the fabric and thus gave support to the plants without mistreating them, this works very well and as you can see in the following pictures the fruits have been growing perfectly.
I want to share this publication because today I have been able to harvest my first tomato and it is really an achievement that makes me very happy, and I want to share it with you, because I feel a sense of satisfaction, because although I am not a total fan of planting, but sincerely there is nothing better than enjoying seeing the good results of the hard work that one has done.

Hola a todos muy buenas tardes hoy quiero compartir con ustedes una galería de fotos que durante algunos días le estaba haciendo a un pequeño huerto de tomates que tengo en casa.
Y es que realmente para mí esto es un logro que deseo compartir con ustedes, ya que llevaba años intentando tener algún tipo de cosecha, por lo cual había sembrado distintos tipos de plantas, pero ninguna, por diversas situaciones había logrado dar frutos.
Intenté con varias, como: pimentón, Ají, Cilantro, Cebollín, Zanahoria, Jengibre, Tomate normal y Tomate Cherry; pero por diversas situaciones como terreno muy húmedo, mucho sol o falta de sol y plagas, habían impedido que mis plantas dieran frutos.
Todos estos intentos los hice en la anterior casa donde vivía y aunque si sé que la tierra era muy buena por lo general siempre tenía problemas; esta vez vivo en un sitio diferente apenas llegué vamos a decir que de cierta forma sembré tómate aunque realmente lo que hice fue esparcir algunas semillas en un terreno.
Al poco tiempo las plantas de tomate fueron germinando y si apenas vi que empezaron a germinar me esforcé por lograr que estás, al fin salieran adelante, no fue una tarea fácil realmente cuidar una planta es un trabajo que requiere de mucha atención, aun así poco a poco fueron creciendo más y más.
Me levantaba temprano para echarles agua, me puse un día a quitar toda la maleza que tenía alrededor para que tuvieran suficiente terreno para crecer y en las tardes les echaba un poco más de agua.
Había una planta de plátano justo donde estaban creciendo las de tomate y para evitar que los nutrientes de una disminuyeran el crecimiento de las otras trasplante esa planta de plátano así poco a poco las de tomate fueron creciendo, claro el tomate es tipo de arbusto muy delicado, pero al menos por la parte de las plagas no tuve problemas.
Así que cuando las plantas ya tuvieron un tamaño decente empecé a pensar en cómo hacer para darles estabilidad, ya que si es una planta muy frágil que por cualquier cosa fácilmente se dobla y aunque el tallo no es que sea tan frágil en sí, una brisa puede doblar las plantas y ya no servirían.
Así que estuve durante varios días pensándolo, pensaba ponerle algunas varas para que así pudiese darle estabilidad y soporte a cada planta sin embargo por lo general cuando son muchas las plantas el terreno se ve muy limitado por la cantidad de varas que iba a tener que poner, así que pensándolo mejor decidí pasar una cuerda por encima de ellas y de la cuerda ir sacando pequeñas cuerdas para darle estabilidad a cada planta hacia arriba.
Esta idea funcionó y ya las matas estaban dando frutos por lo que poco a poco fui amarrando cada uno de los tallos, envolvía el tallo en un pedacito de tela para que no quedara apretado y luego amarraba una cuerda a la tela y así le daba soporte a las plantas sin maltratarlas, esto me funciona muy bien y cómo pueden ver en las siguientes fotografías los frutos han ido creciendo perfectamente.
Quiero compartir esta publicación porque el día de hoy he podido cosechar mi primer tomate y realmente es un logro que me contenta mucho, y quiero compartirlo con ustedes, ya que siento una sensación de satisfacción, porque aunque no es que sea un total aficionado a la siembra, pero sinceramente no hay nada mejor que disfrutar de ver los buenos resultados del duro trabajo que uno ha realizado.
