Bear #72!

Last night...okay in the early hours this morning, if I'm entirely honest _{even Artemis had a better idea of what time it was for me and she's in Thailand!}...I got an odd notification from Hive account@ginabot pop up on my tablet, informing me that Hive account@artemislives had sent me 95 Hive. It was puzzling, because while I may not exactly be rich, I know that at this point in time she needs currency way more than I, so I thought she'd lost her marbles.

It turned out she absolutely hadn't, but was instead showing me that she had enough trust and respect in me to pass me the HiveTorch. I didn't even realise this experiment had been started up again, since it was last done over on Steem.

There are some slightly different instructions, this time, which include adding a torch photo with the Hive logo, which I don't have the software to do, so I pinched the one that Hive account@artemislives put on hers and this rather lovely image is by Steve Bidmead and available on Pixabay.

The all new HiveTorch was started by Hive account@stayoutoftherz and you can read all about it here. _{Go on, off you go. I'm too lazy to write it all again here for you, but I'll wait.}

So after reading the lovely things Artemis wrote about me I promptly went to bed before I attempted to transfer the torch and mess things up in my half asleep state. Then it's been a busy morning, I finally read the original post and note that it also mentions speed, with regards transferring. Sorry for being so tardy with this.

I have finally palmed handed the torch off to Hive account@mattclarke, as the instructions say it should be someone I trust to pass it along again, _{which is why you didn't get it Hive account@holoz0r! ;D}

If you haven't heard of Hive account@mattclarke before, _{(why not?)} he's been around since the first year of Hive and is one of the most generous people I know here. He has gathered up many a South Australian and made them feel at home. He's kind of like a big papa bear, imposing in stature, but warm and welcoming.

So now I dust my hands off and let the torch go on its way...by the way, Matt, whatever's happened to Hive account@rustle? Has he had to hide his blue crest in shame, or has he been born again with a red change?
