Hola amigos talentosos de #SoundMusic...Espero se encuentren muy bién
Hacía mucho tiempo que no compartía contenido aquí en esta linda comunidad. Había estado un poco desactivado apenas haciendo un par o en su defecto una sola publicación a la semana, y no había notado el gran flujo de actividad que está teniendo la comunidad ahorita, lo cual me alegra bastante y me motiva hoy a venir a compartir con ustedes un vocalcover, poniendo a prueba nuevamente mi voz que ya saben que no es mi fuerte pero que cada vez quiero ponerle mas empeño.
Para esta ocasión quiero hacerle honor al amor, cantando un gran clásico venezolano del maestro Henry Stephen, un tema conocido por todos, llamado "Te he perdido". Debo confesar que durante muchos años estuve escuchando esta canción en la versión de salsa interpretada por el grupo "Name" de Curazao si no me equivoco. Y realmente pensé que esta canción era original de ese grupo, ignorando que en realidad era una de las obras mas esplendidas del maestro venezolano Henry Stephen, y el grupo Name hizo una gran hazaña al darle la popularidad que tuvo.
Henry Stephen era conocido como el pionero del rock and roll en Venezuela, y muchos de sus exitos se basaron en este género, entre ellos "mi limonero", de cual también pronto me gustaría hacer una versión.
Esta canción quería hacerla en la versión de salsa, ya que últimamente he estado muy apegado a este género y tengo una fiebre por versionar muchos de esos temas conocidos en guitarra. Canciónes que me traen recuerdos de mi infancia y mi adolescencia, porque a pesar de que este no era el estilo al que me ligaba, inevitablemente escuchaba estas canciónes por donde quiera que iba, empezando por la radio. Pero finalmente he decido optar por la versión original, para darle un toque mas romántico con el estilo de balada...aunque mi interpretación estuvo terrible, en mi cabeza al momento de grabar estuve pensando que iba muy bién, pero ya después de publicada la escucho una y otra vez y me doy cuenta que no fue así, tuve unos cuantos errores no solo vocales sino pronunciando la letra, arruinando esta hermosa pieza. Perdón maestro!
Pero ya el trabajo está hecho, la pasión es lo que predomina. La letra de esta canción toca las fibras de mis emociónes hoy, haciendo que me identifique tanto con ella que no puedo evitar sentirla desde lo mas profundo de mi ser, ya que cada palabra escrita allí, define mi status sentimental, y es una situación que parece ser tracendental a lo largo del tiempo. Es increíble como ayer era un niño que escuchaba esta canción en la radio y hoy soy un adulto que la escucha desde el corazón.
Como siempre ha sido un gran placer compartir con ustedes acá en esta comunidad, y siempre agradecido con el apoyo recibido. Por cierto creo que no he visto que han hecho mas concursos, o al menos no he estado al tanto, pero sería genial que hicieran alguno y yo encantado participaría. It's been a long time since I shared content here in this nice community. I had been a bit off just making a couple or, failing that, a single publication a week, and I had not noticed the great flow of activity that the community is having right now, which makes me very happy and motivates me today to come and share with you guys a vocalcover, putting my voice to the test again that you already know is not my forte but that I want to put more effort into it every time.
For this occasion I want to honor love, singing a great Venezuelan classic by the master Henry Stephen, a song known to all, called "I have lost you". I must confess that for many years I have been listening to this song in the salsa version performed by the group "Name" from Curaçao if I am not mistaken. And I really thought that this song was original to that group, ignoring that it was actually one of the most splendid works of the Venezuelan master Henry Stephen, and the group Name did a great deed by giving it the popularity it had.
Henry Stephen was known as the pioneer of rock and roll in Venezuela, and many of his hits were based on this genre, including "mi limonero", which I would also like to do a version of soon.
I wanted to do this song in the salsa version, since lately I have been very attached to this genre and I have a fever to cover many of those well-known songs on guitar. Sorry master!
But the work is already done, passion is what prevails. The lyrics of this song touch the fibers of my emotions today, making me identify with it so much that I cannot help but feel it from the depths of my being, since each word written there defines my sentimental status, and it is a situation that appears to be transcendental over time. It's amazing how yesterday I was a child listening to this song on the radio and today I'm an adult listening to it from the heart.
As always, it has been a great pleasure to share with you here in this community, and I am always grateful for the support received. By the way I think I have not seen that they have done more contests, or at least I have not been aware, but it would be great if they did one and I would be delighted to participate.
