     Bueno, mi entrada en esta ocasión está protagonizada por el tema musical y joya de los boleros del siglo XX Quizás, Quizás, Quizás, del compositor cubano Osvaldo Farrés, quién también ejecutaba el piano, virtuoso que a través de sus muchos boleros adquirió fama internacional como fue el caso de No me vayas a engañar; Acércate más; toda una vida; Quizás, quizás, quizás; no, no y no, entre otros.

     Osvaldo Farrés era un asiduo de las veladas de su madre y en no pocas ocasiones se sentaba al piano a tocar sus propias canciones e incluso improvisarlas. Por aquellos años, las hermanas de Yonny eran jóvenes y tenían varios enamorados que las cortejaban, uno de ellos siempre invitaba a bailar a Olga, quien a la pregunta de “¿Bailaremos alguna vez?”, siempre respondía “Quizás... quizás... quizás...”. Un día Farrés, después de escuchar una vez más el intento fallido del enamorado, se sentó al piano y tarareó: “Siempre que te pregunto que cuándo, cómo y dónde, tú siempre me respondes, quizás, quizás, quizá”. Y así, empezó a componer la pieza.

     Su gusto al público fue tal que la versionó en inglés. Esta canción ha sido estuchada en la película Brokeback Mountain y In the mood for, también grabada por Andrea Bocelli, el trío Los Panchos, Celia Cruz, Jennifer López , Carlos Rivera y en arreglo vocal por Il divo. Es más, sin temor a equivocarme, ha sido la valiosa que trascendió esta canción a los paises arabes... Imagino que su compositor nunca se imaginó esto.
