Jesús Sevillano es un tenor consagrado. Para muchos ha sido una de las mejores líricas nacidas en Venezuela, específicamente en Caracas el 8 de septiembre de 1932. Fue fundador del "Quinteto Contrapunto", en 1962, grupo con el que estuvo hasta que fue disuelto en 1971.
