That morning Prince Hefromund XVI had to wake up very early! Before 4 a.m.
Those were our last hours spent in the Polish land, as at 6:55 our plane took off toward the sunniest part of southern Europe. Toward Spain - the new country where this little creature immigrated with us.
We had several farewells from Hivers who attended the #HiveBeeCon event those days in Poland. Every day we said goodbye, with hugs and hopes that we would see each other one day again. And what happened actually was that we met again. We just kept meeting over and over again, for 4 days! I think it says something, maybe that we enjoyed the company and all those moments very much.
{Let's leave out that word "maybe" from the previous sentence! 😉}
The Kingdom gave us a home for those days, although the official event was supposed to take place just on Saturday. However, having a toast (we are sorry if we consumed your dinner on Sunday evening) or a few cups of tea accompanied by both meaningful and just funny talks made us go back a few times more.
Deep respect. I think it is the closest description of the feeling I have for the activities done in . Offering free Polish lessons, helping and giving shelter to those in need, hosting #HiveBeeCon, or just having open doors to all those who like to have some more chitchat. Even babysitting a young Cocker Spaniel, Arya, who needed some attention because of swollen gums. It's a home. And it was the birthplace of a little invented creature, a hefrom, who lived there with its sisters and brothers.
In one moment, it was decided that he would come with me and have his adventures in Spain. Because of that, he had to get up that early, with us, to catch the train to the airport.
That was so funny as I didn't know we would fly with Buzz (by Ryanair). What? A bee? 😂 Is it a whole Hive of bees then inside the plane? There were no stings and all went well, I fell asleep before the plane took off! In one of those moments I was awake I took this picture. Then black in front of my eyes came again!
That same day, when we arrived in Alicante (Spain) and took off a few layers of clothes, the little creature saw for the first time the sea. He got a new name - Prince Hefromund XVI (16th, because he was that number in this list), and prince, because he was born in The Kingdom.
So far he is coming with me to work:
Prince Herfomund is behaving very well! He is patient even when I have to wait for the garage door to open, as sometimes the remote key is not doing its work properly. So we wait together...
I promised that I would be sharing his new adventures and this is just the beginning. At the moment I am still in the phase of transition between storing all the moments from the HiveBeeCon in my memory and heart and getting back to real-life stuff. This little prince will certainly help in the task of not forgetting the energy that was shared among the Hivers, in Krakow.
