It's Sunday morning again so that I will be running early. I am always looking forward to sweating up while the sun rises. Aside from feeling good all day, I feel like I have all the energy I need.
I set my alarm for 5:30 in the morning. When I woke up, I just started preparing everything, from my shoes, water bottle, and more. I got myself a cup of tea and a cracker to boost my energy.
After all the preparations, I had to do warm-up exercises for about 5 minutes before I started running. When I got to the streets, there were only a few people and cars around, as it was still early.
After walking and running for a few minutes, I slowed down a bit and let the sweat roll down my face. As I looked around, I was already kilometers away from home. I needed to lie low since I got a very high heart rate while running. Also, it made me sweaty and tired. My legs could feel slight cramping, but I must get going.
The sun started to show up little by little. It's getting warmer, too. My sweats started coming through my face, and it felt good. I think I was already on my 5th kilometer when I passed through the rice field and a beautiful river near our home. I am almost at our house, too.
I slowed down a bit again and took a quick photo of myself, all sweaty and tired. I've already done 8 kilometres, and I'm starting to feel tired in my body, yet it feels so good to feel so weary in the morning.
I got home and had some cool-down exercises for about 8 minutes. It's for the muscles and to make sure I don't feel sore all day. After the cool-down, it was time for me to drink some water and recharge by eating breakfast. It was another good run for me!
