Y tal cual asi sucedio, nada mas inicie el primero y me dije no que va, pero bueno, ya cuando vi en cuanto termine el primer intervalo de 400 mts, en 2:30 minutos, estaba superior a lo que en estos momentos mi rendimiento da, pero bueno, me dije vamos a trabajarlas diferentes, me enfoque en tratar de que cada serie bajara un poco esos 2:30 minutos, y asi sucedio, no llegue a la optima, lo mas cercano que estuve fue de 2:04 minutos, pero bueno escuche mi cuerpo y hoy no estaba para darme mas, y no podia exigirme porque no es la idea, es un entrenamiento, mas bien me felicite por no abortar el entrenamiento, estuve a punto de hacerlo cuando en el parque mientras calentaba no me sentia bien. En total realice 8 series de 400 metros con descanso de un minuto.Realice unos kilometros de enfriamientos con posterior estiramiento pasivo. Seguimos amigos runners con los entrenamientos. 💕💕🏃🏽♀️➡️

Here’s a look at my Friday workout. I don’t usually do interval training on Fridays, but due to personal commitments, I had to tweak my routine a bit, and since I hadn’t done any intervals all week, today was the day. I started my workout with a few kilometers of warm-up. While warming up in the park, I watched a beautiful sunrise and saw several active people—young people and adults—walking and jogging through the park. This really cheers me up, since the atmosphere feels very uplifting. When I finished warming up, I went to the stadium. Thankfully, it was already open, and some athletes were already training. I hydrated a bit and started the sets. Today I had a feeling I wouldn’t perform very well since my body didn’t feel right. I think I’m coming down with a virus because I felt weak, but I told myself I’m going to do the full workout no matter what, even if I don’t perform as expected—this is to train my mind.
And that’s exactly what happened. As soon as I started the first one, I told myself, “No way,” but anyway, once I saw that I’d finished the first 400-meter interval in 2:30, I realized it was faster than my current performance level allows. But I told myself, “Let’s approach these differently,” and I focused on trying to shave a little time off that 2:30 in each set, and that’s what happened. I didn’t reach the optimal time—the closest I got was 2:04—but I listened to my body, and today I just wasn’t up for pushing myself further. I couldn’t push myself because that’s not the point; it’s just a workout. Instead, I congratulated myself for not calling it quits—I was on the verge of doing so when I wasn’t feeling well while warming up in the park.
